Who is Beansmile?

Beansmile (Chinese: 乐豆) is a digital product and AI engineering company founded in 2015. Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, with offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo, Beansmile builds AI-driven software for brands entering and scaling in China and global markets — including e-commerce engines, WeChat mini-programs, mobile and web apps, Shopify solutions, and AI agents. As a WeChat-certified service provider and certified Shopify partner, Beansmile has delivered 200+ projects for 100+ clients across 10+ countries.

Our story

Beansmile was founded in 2015 as a digital product studio in Guangzhou, China. The company started by building WeChat mini-programs, mobile apps, and web platforms for brands that wanted to enter the Chinese market.
Over the past decade, Beansmile has grown into a three-office company spanning Guangzhou (headquarters), Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Today it combines product engineering with AI engineering — building e-commerce engines, cross-border rollouts, Shopify solutions, AI agents, and in-house AI products.
The brand name Beansmile (Chinese: 乐豆) has stayed constant since 2015, and so has the way the company works: concrete, factual products that ship.

Who we are: the team

Beansmile is a team of experienced experts with more than 10 years of experience in China-market technology. The company was founded in 2015, and that founding focus on engineering and quality still guides the team today.
The team includes full-stack iOS, Android, and Web developers, an international design team, and a professional marketing team versed in the Chinese market. Together the team brings hands-on experience with WeChat official accounts, mini-programs, and enterprise platforms.
Beansmile is also active in the developer community: it has sponsored Ruby conferences since 2016 and is an ongoing sponsor of the Vue community.

Beansmile delivers e-commerce engines that combine app, mini-program, and web; overseas and cross-border project delivery; Shopify storefront customization and integration; AI engineering, including agents and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO); full-industry solutions across social, finance, education, transportation, and auctions; and WeChatHub, an overseas ticketing gateway for Chinese tourists.
Beansmile also builds AI products in-house: AiDa.Yun, ClawMe, QuickImage, Wordmind, PDF to Portfolio, and Beansmile Deck MCP.
